I get so inspired to create conceptual abstracts. This variety is from my travels abroad. Most European places are ablaze with sunlight so colour really stands out. All my works of art have great depth of meaning, with each stroke and texture adding to the concept I wish to express. I use deep-boxed canvases and each painting continues on the edges; I apply heavy-bodied acrylic paints with palette knives for the backgrounds, various brushes for the finer details and syringes for the brightly-coloured outlines. I also like to add glitter-paints and fluorescent paints. If I feel inspired, I add some lettering too, as words are an art form in themselves.
