- This day in Nice was one of the more customary, hazy, warm, shimmering days. The shapes and heavy texture represent the movement of the windsurfers and boats out in the bay of Nice. I painted this scene with palette knives and added glitter to add to the shimmering effect of the sun on the water and on the wet sails of the windsurfers.
