Here is a variety of samples of portraits ranging from inexpensive line-drawings types to extremely expensive, full-length oil portraits. Having studied all art forms and having been an art lecturer teaching all the techniques of all the mediums, I like to do all kinds of portraits. I like the challenge of painting figurative, traditional style, near-photographic portraits but also enjoy the challenge of getting an acceptable likeness of someone, as an abstract or semi-abstract form. I also do portraits of people's houses, their children and their pets or their favourite vintage car or motorbike or even their church as a gift for their retiring pastor. I can do wedding portraits and graduation portraits and even whimsical portraits as a greeting card for graduation day.
