- Venice inspires me not only to paint wild, heavily-textured acrylics paintings using a palette-knife, but it also inspires me to patiently paint scenes using fine, acrylic brushes with traditional scenes and painted in a traditional style of manner. Although I didn't want to make this painting look photographic, it is very figurative and true to life.
